    Final Outline (30 points)  Final Outline: Use the template from page four of the course packet to write a full  sentenced outline. This assignment must match the outline template with little deviation.  Outlines written in other organizational patterns will receive point reductions. This  assignment requires all oral citations to be written, all in­text citations in APA format  i.e.  (Miller, 2012) and a separate reference page in APA format.    Specific purpose: Persuade audience to see the benefits of marijuana legalization in terms of  what it could do for our economic crisis.  Introduction  I.Open with impact: If I surveyed this whole room on the effects that the economy has on their  schooling, life, and other matters involving finances, it would be very obvious that it affects each  and every one of you.   A. On a state and federal level, the government is struggling to find a solution  to the accumulating debt of our country.  B. In times of crisis, we must explore all available options at our disposal. Doing so will  preserve our future. One of these options that may be worth taking a look at marijuana  legalization.   II.  Thesis: Marijuana Legalization has been a topic hot on the heels of California and other  states during the last couple of years, and especially within these last couple of weeks. With  Washington recently approving marijuana legalization, it is only a matter of time that other states  take stride in this movement.      III. Connect: If we put aside our personal judgements and assumptions,  politicians included,  for just a moment , we could realize the truly significant economic benefits that this could bring.  Economic growth and stability should still be a goal everyone can agree on­ why not look into  something that could aid the economy?    IV.  Preview: There are many benefits of why marijuana legalization will aide the economy.  A.  A taxation on marijuana could put money back into California's pocket.   ...
