What a wonderful phrase ! Simply means no worries, for the rest of your days. " If only that were possible in the real world ", do I hear you say ? What IS the real world ? I ask. Isn't fiction too, inspired by the real world ? All of us daydream. Fiction is simply those dreams shared with other people. You would be lying if you said that you have not once in life, come across Timon, Pumba, even Rafiki, or any other of your favorite fictional characters. Snoopy, Superman, Tin Tin, Tom and Jerry, Sylvester and Tweety, even Ben Tennyson, The Great Hulk, Katniss Everdeen, Harry Potter ! One doesn't need to have green skin or flying abilities or FUR, to be like them. It's about the personality. They are, in my opinion, a reflection of reality through filters of imagination. "They have happy endings, we don't", I hear you argue. Their story too, does not end at the end of the book. There are several more books both before and after the books out in the market, stories untold. Ask a God-fearing person why they fear God, they answer, " God will punish me if I do bad deeds, I don't want to go to hell after I die, I yearn for the pleasures of heaven". My question is, why wait till you're dead ? Why are we always worried about being rewarded or penalized for the things we do ? Why do we live in fear of death ? I think we would be happier if we live our life on our own terms, compromising here and there for the ones we care about, try to look at the goodness in every person, positive aspect of every situation, trust our judgement, listen to our conscience, take actions which make others happy, which makes us happy, and most importantly, take responsibilities for our actions, make mistakes but learn from them, instead of feeling humiliated or disappointed. Embarrassment is simply a figment of our imagination. It's all in our head. If you are proud and content with what you are, others will feel the same way about you.
