PART 1

*
- I would choose ‘tweenies’ as it would children of this age group to eat more healthily and will have a positive and long-lasting effect as they’re young. It will also encourage children to eat breakfast - as less and less children every year are eating breakfast (which potentially affects their education). However, it may not work as the ‘tweenies’ may not want a healthy, fruity breakfast and will possibly want something more sweet. This means that you will lose costumers – and consequently lose money.

I would also choose, ‘Ladies who lunch’. This would be likely to increase high sales as a lot of women now a days want to stay healthy and fit, and lose weight. And a healthy breakfast offers these things for them, meaning they will be attracted to the cereal for their health. However, it may not be appropriate as they may find the product too childish and not fit for adults.
My last choice would be ‘Yummy Mummies’. The mother may encourage her children to eat the healthy breakfast by eating it herself. Also because, the Mother may want to lose weight after the childbirth, and therefore use the cereal for this purpose. However, it may not be appropriate because, the child(ren) may have allergies towards the cereal (or the parents fear that the child(ren) might), or the parents may only want to buy organic meals for their child(ren).
Overall, I choose: ‘Tweenies’ because, they would be the most attracted to the product and most satisfied with the flavours. Also because encouraging children to eat healthy cereal would also satisfy the parents - and keep their child fit.
It will encourage children (and potentially adults) to eat the product, and stay healthy. It will also create a new competitor for other healthy cereals e.g.: special K. However, this product is aimed at children.
