Florida, a place I like to vacation to and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a warm peaceful atmosphere.   Florida is a comfortable place for me to vacation, besides the beaches, and many attractions to see I also get to see family. When I am there, I always feel carefree and without worries or responsibilities. Florida is a complete different atmosphere than New Jersey; where I live now, from the style of people, the surroundings, to the smells in the air. I do not feel one place is better than the other, they both have good and bad qualities, I really couldn’t live in Florida full-time.
Upon arrival to the airport, you see all the pastel colors, and as soon as you step outside, the warm air hugs your body and there is a certain smell to the air, not like any smells in New Jersey.   You can defiantly tell you are in another climate, along with all the Palm trees everywhere. First stop is the hotel, even the hotel rooms have a tropical smell. I do not know I it’s the peach and blue bedspreads, the white washed furniture, or the shell pictures on the wall. The first thing I do is change into my bathing suit and flip flops before heading to the beach.
I arrive at the beach, and find my spot in the warm soft white sand. I lay down my blanket and put something heavy on each corner so my blanket won’t blow away in the warm breeze. Just as I lay on my blanket and close my eyes, my mind is at peace. The smell of the ocean mix with the sweet smell of coconut tanning oil, waves crashing into the shore, and seagulls squawking above reminds me of the ocean sound CD. So relaxed I feel the sun embracing my pale skin. As far as I can see blue green water, it seems to be never ending, the sky is bright blue with white puffy clouds, and the sun so big and bright. After hours in the harsh rays of sun, I decided to go in the water. Oh how refreshing it is, at first it feels to cool, but after my whole body gets under, it is just the right temperature not to

warm...
