A national concern I have found from CNN U.S. is Academic fraud or not, UNC students likely will keep degrees. The problem with this is in University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina 3,100 students enrolled into fake classes and received degrees with University of North Carolina seal that is ranked one of the top institutions schools.
The alternatives to the problem are that students are upset that they were enrolled into fake classes wondering if their degrees will be taken back from them.
The advantages of the alternatives to the problem is that UNC (University of North Carolina) states that they there verify each degree that they give all the time and the degrees that the students have receive cannot be taken back and there is nothing the University can do about it (Ganim S, 2014).   A disadvantage of the alternative is the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools is reviewing the report and this fraudulent has been going on for many years and want to take the students degrees back because Southern Associations of Colleges and Schools are calling the degrees paper classes.
The solution to this problem is I support the Southern Associations of Colleges and Schools that they should look into this college giving fake classes and charge the president for agreeing to them. Students work very hard and spend a lot of money going to college and should not worry about fraudulent when going to school to get a higher education.
This solution is working there is a lawsuit that has been filed against UNC and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools made UNC offer new classes to the students enrolled in fake classes at no cost and reissue new degrees to the 3,100 students. After many years UNC has been getting away with this, evaluate UNC classes to make sure students are getting real classes stay on top of UNC.
