Integrity is a quality that many falsely claim to have, and a way of life that is seemingly difficult to live by. I’m not even sure people really know what the word means, yet I personally hear it used all too often. Integrity means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. These are some synonyms’ of integrity honesty, probity, rectitude, honor, good character, principles, righteousness, morality, virtue, decency, fairness, scrupulousness, sincerity, truthfulness, trustworthiness.
Integrity is regarded by many people as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Its important to be or have integrity because with integrity you can open a lot of doors in life.  In the real world today, certain levels of integrity are expected in different places. For example, where we find the influence of evil, we find a lack of integrity. Integrity has been defined as “Moral soundness; honesty; freedom from corrupting influence or motive” integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one’s actions. Integrity can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy, in that integrity regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs. Integrity is the essential part of all spheres of human life and has a common meaning. Speaking about government and law integrity is a necessary foundation of any system based on the supremacy and objectivity of laws. The concept of integrity may also feature in business contexts beyond the issues of employee/employer honesty and ethical behavior, notably in marketing or branding contexts.
