Changes to syllabus for 2015
This syllabus has been revised. You are advised to read the whole of the syllabus before planning
your teaching programme.
•
Paper 1 includes a compulsory source-based question.
•
Part (d) of each question in Paper 2 specifically assesses analysis skills. A levels of response mark
scheme will be used for the part (d) questions.
•
Assessment objectives are presented as one set for the whole syllabus.
•
There are changes to clarify and refresh the syllabus content for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
•
The spelling of some names in the syllabus has been changed to reflect the most commonly used
spelling, these are:

Haji Shariatullah
–
Rahmat Ali
–
Liaquat Ali Khan
–
Iskander Mirza
–
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto
–
the ulama.
