Yesterday was a terrible day. Everything went wrong.

First, I overslept. My alarm clock did not ring. I got up when I heard some noise outside my window. It was 9:15. I got dressed quickly. I ran to class, but I was late. The teacher will angry.

After my classes in the morning, I went to the cafeteria. I ate a sandwich and drank a glass of milk for lunch. But I had to pay for two sandwiches and two glasses of milk because I dropped my first tray of food on the floor. I went back to the cafeteria line and got a second tray of food. I paid for the food again.

After lunch, I went outside. I sat under a tree near the classroom building. I saw a friend. I called to him. He joined me on the grass. We talked about our classes and relaxed. Everything was fine. But then I stood up. When I stood up, I stepped in a hole and broke my ankle.

My friend drove me to the hospital. We went to the emergency ward. The doctor took X-rays of my ankle, Then he put a cast on it. I paid my bill. Then we left the hospital. My friend took me home and helped me up the stairs to my apartment.

When we got to the door of my apartment, I looked for my key. I looked in my purse and in my pockets. There was no key. I rang the doorbell. I thought that my roommate might be at home, but she was not. So I sat down on the floor outside my apartment and waited for my roommate to get home.

Finally my roommate came home and I got into the apartment. I ate dinner quickly and went to bed. I slept for ten hours. I hope today is a better day than yesterday!
