General Patton Part IV

General Patton shows more of a conflict in the fourth part of the movie. He killed a couple of donkeys because they blocked the bridge. That was the first conflict that changed the soldiers' and other peoples' feelings about him. Later, he goes to the hospital and hurts more people. A man has a nervous breakdown and doesn't want to continue the war. He thinks there is enough death and wishes to go home. Patton does not comfort him, but instead screams and slaps him on the head. He thinks he acted like a "girl" and should be strong. The soldier feels even worse and more hurt because of Patton.
Patton seems to act like a Nazi. Even though he fights for the United States, his tactics are similar to the Nazis. This could be a reason why the Germans praise General Patton. He always puts up a good fight and always takes the offense. Later in the movie, he is removed from commanding the seventh army. The Germans thought this was a trick since it was be a stupid idea to remove the best commander they have in the war. This shows how much the Germans admired him and his tactics to fighting. Patton has a passion for fighting and commanding an army. However, his soldiers did not like him since many died while he was in command. This could be a reason for his removal but they lost a great commander who won hundreds of medals and awards in combat.
