The best way to reduce air pollution is that government to raise the cost of fuel(petrol) of the cars.
  As more and more people pay attention to environmental protection. Seeking ways to reduce air pollution has become a hot topic in society. Many people the idea that the best way to reduce air pollution is for government to raise the cost of fuel of the cars. In my opinion, this is absolutely not the most effective way to reduce air pollution. So I think the government can't raise the price of fuel to solve this problem.
  Firstly, it upsets the public that government raises the cost of fuel of the cars. The fuel’s current price is too high to be afforded by common employers. The latest survey shows 10% of private car owners have turned to use public transportation to go to work over the past 5 years. Therefore for the government, to adjust fuel’s price is to ignore the public’s interests.
  Secondly, our industry send out much waste gases into the air without being dealt with. So I think the government must give severe punishment to those factories. Industrial pollution is clearly one of the biggest contributors to our polluted landscapes because it will not only polluted the air, it’s also polluted water source. So I think the government have to make laws and rules to limit the emission. Because it must be more effective than raise the coat of fuel.
  In conclusion, I have shown that I still contend that raising the cost of fuel is not the best way to reduce air pollution.
