The poem talks about “roads.” Roads may represent a choice and it’s up to the person to make it a good life or a bad one. For example, a young person could be a great student if he decides goes to the university or college while he has time and resources to do it. However, if he lets time goes by, he may regretted for waste his time and not achieve anything. That’s why we always leave footprints on the path. In everything what we do. Also, the poet mentioned a “travel” it seems to be a trip through the life of every person. When he says “sorry I could not travel both” he maybe would like to try both, but at the same time doubts, and he continues looking down the roads for a long time trying to make his decision about which road take. The traveler is wondering about the path he didn’t take, and is obsessing over the thought that perhaps the other path would have been better, but it appears that he will never know. He feels as dark as fog. When he says “Because it was grassy and wanted wear” it seems to be a path less traveled but when he thinks about it, he realizes the paths could be “really about the same”. We can noticed the feeling of looking back the first decision and wondering how the things could be different remain when the poet says “I kept the other for another day” He expects to take the other path someday. “I shall be telling this with a sigh” a sigh might indicate nostalgic, relief or the poet could be sighing in regret. The sigh may be is an evaluation of his choice. The poem inspires to make own decisions in life and to find our own road to the future. There are a lot of paths that we can walk on it. Some ones take one, some ones don’t take anyone.

The matter is trying a path eventhough, when we got to follow someone’s footsteps, or we’re wrong. Every person is free to be different. Life is about roads, decisions and changes. Life is a journey.
