Pathways to successful life
Abraham Lincoln: “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.” We all want to be successful in life. Doors of success can be opened by our own efforts. Success can be achieved through continuous hard work proper planning and believing in oneself. The pathways to successful life can be classified into three categories the first is focusing on goals, second is positive attitude and the third is being persistent.
The first category in pathways to successful life is focusing on goals. We must define our specific goals by creating a target. Too many targets lead to loss of target. If the target goal is set planning and strategy to succeed can be made. Staying focused on goals help us to concentrate on our goals, and it will gradually lead us to success. If the bull’s eye is the main target then one should focus on the bull’s eye and aim to hit the bull’s eye instead of the surrounding targets. Focusing on too many things can lead to distraction and focusing on the target leads to success.
The second category which leads us to pathways of successful life is positive thinking or positive attitude Nature has given plenty for everyone. We all want victory rather than defeat. This positive attitude towards life will result in success. Crying over spilt milk is a negative attitude. We must promise ourselves that we will be the winner. Positive attitude give us the strength to combat the negative thoughts. Helen Keller said “when one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look at the closed door that we do not see the one opened for us.” Success is grabbing the opportunity with positive attitude and opening new doors.
