What I believe intelligence is is the ability to know and memorize a lot of information on a subject. The technical definition of intelligence is an umbrella term used to describe a property of the mind that encompasses many related abilities, such as the capacities to reason, to plan, to solve problems, to think abstractly, to comprehend ideas, to use language, and to learn.
I believe mind is the ability to think about problems and also to decide if something is wrong or right. The technical definition of mind is the human consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially in thought, perception, emotion, will, memory, and imagination. I think Andrew and David have minds but they only operate the way they are programmed to, but technically they don’t because they don’t have to think they just know the answer to everything.
I think the soul is the heart felt that you feel in God’s life. Also I think it is the spirit of a dead human. The technical definition of soul is the spiritual nature of humans, regarded as immortal, separable from the body at death, and susceptible to happiness or misery in a future state. I think that both Andrew and David do have souls because for example, when Andrew becomes human he can feel, touch, taste, etc. Also he wants to age and become old so he can die and be with Portia. I think Andrew has a soul because he changes into a complete different man from the beginning of the movie to the end. But I think David does not have a soul because he stays the same throughout the whole movie.
The goal of David was to be loved by his mother. At first she wanted nothing to do with him because she loved her real son but he was sick. The mother realized she couldn’t love a mechanical being. But towards the middle of the movie she finally gives in and makes David like a real boy. But when her real son gets better and he returns she ignores him and doesn’t want him anymore. David stops through nothing just to hear the words...
