The Top

Have you ever been to the top?   The mountain top that is. Not the Rocky Mountains but the mountain top of life and success. This is a place not many get to see. Not because they cannot but because they never strived to get that high. I’ve been told the mountain top of success is a great place to be and I plan to but myself is the best position to get there.
The height of the mountain top depends on what that person’s definition of success. That’s the first step, if you don’t even know what success is in your eyes how could u ever strive for anything? Everyone has different views as to what success is in their lives and others. The important thing is to measure what success is for you and then set your mind and heart on achieving it. I personally haven’t come from one of the best neighborhoods so I see a lot of unsuccessful people. I have always had a good head on my shoulders so I never fell into the unsuccessful ways of others in my neighborhood. After high school it looks like the only way to take my life to the mountain top was to first further my education.
Planning to further my education was the 2nd goal I set out for myself. The foundation for success is setting goals and achieving them. For the moment I would consider college a long term goal because that’s four years at a university. I set college as a goal for success because without a college degree my options for a successful job are limited. I’m taking everything step by step though, that is because every long term goal takes smaller short terms goals to be completed. A short term goal for success for now would be to not have a very low GPA for my first semester of school.
I can see the mountain top, I’m far from the top but I am taking the steps I believe will guide me uptop.Everyone has the option to get the top it’s just all about the decisions taken, one bad decision can end that strive to the top.
