Organ Donation

The attitude in Dennis Campbell’s article is pro organ donation. The system needs to be changed to what he calls presumed consent. He thinks it is the only way to face the demand for organ donation that is raising everyday, today. The article by Robert D. Truog is against organ donation. His opinion is based on ethical reasons and thoughts about what poor people might do to themselves to get food/attention etc.. In the last article Richard Wilson is being pretty neutral. He doesn’t let us know what his opinion is towards organ donation. He is just making us aware of us being able to donate our organs.
    An organ is a gift for life in more than one way. First of all because it is a very personal gift, which you are going to have inside you for the rest of your life and you will probably never forget the donor for giving you a second chance in life. Second, I think that it is a gift, who grants you life, its almost like a computer game, in which you have extra life or credits. I believe everyone should have right to “extra” life’s. About being a commodity for sale; in the world today EVERYTHING is for sale and why should organ donation be? If you could save someone’s life by giving them your kidney, would you do so?
    Register as an organ donor today rather than tomorrow!
