Four Possible Types of School in the Next 50 Years

1.The child is taught the subjects he or she must study under the National Curriculum. These are English, maths , science , technology, a foreign language , history geography art, music and PE in secondary schools. But the child must   be given religious education unless the parents decide otherwise.

3.My favorite subject in school is History. History is my favorite subject because to me learning about the history of the world and learning why wars were started and the sorts of mistakes humans have made in the past to me it is all so very interesting. And also we need history because we look at history to see what sort of mistakes we have made in the past, learn from these mistakes, and try to not make the same mistakes in the future.

I dare to foresee that there will be four types of school: state school, private or independent schools, mostly boarding schools, home schools where children will be educated by private instructors or by their parents, and schools on the air providing the students who live far from central cities communicate e-mail with their teachers. Small cameras on the computers will enable students and instructors to talk directly and have a class as if they were face-to-face   in the same auditorium. I tend to think such “borderless” classrooms will become a reality. On the other hand, I have a fear (there’s a fear) that computer technology and internet   will replace teachers. Neither computer nor internet is worth communication an interaction with people, one can get a lot of information from computer studying alone at home. But at school we have the opportunity to develop our ideas, we can agree or disagree. Therefore, I hope traditional school won’t disappear.
