With the development of technology, the Internet has changed people’s life and education. Some argue that children can study at home in stead of going to school while others still insist that schooling is better.

Although children can obtain any information they want through the Internet. It’s hard for them to distinguish between wrongs and rights. Specifically, the Internet is awash with excessive violent and pornographic content s which run contary promoting children’s mental and emotional development. However, in school, teachers cultivate children in terms of physics, psychology and academy. Not only do teachers instill high moral values, but also children can receive education in a good environment. Also, children can learn team spirit from school. There are quite a lot extra-curricular activities for kids to join, which is of great help. Even though children can learn a lot through the internet, they never know what the real meaning of “team” is from hearts. Furthermore, kids can make many friends in the school, which helps them widen social circles.

On the other hand, it is really convenient for kids to learn at home. Kids can take tests and have lessons through the Internet and make comments on teachers’ educational information. Likewise,   teachers can evaluate students’ homework directly on the Internet, which is less time-consuming. But overall, it is tough to make children well-rounded by studying at home.

My view is that children can gain better education in school rather at home. They can get a clear perspective of what they should do and want to do in the future.
