Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Was it necessary to drop the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
This event happen during World War II, in 1945 and it cause a lot of dead and a lot of destruction. This was the first time the United States use an atomic bomb against someone. The United State dropped two bombs, the first one on Hiroshima and three days later on Nagasaki. The United State decided to drop the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because Japan attacked Pearl Harbor with bombs, because of that the United join the war.
I think that the dropping of the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was necessary. Well I think that it was kind of wrong that the United States drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because they killed a lot of innocent people but I think it was necessary because Japan attack without a warning and they killed a lot of people too, and Japan did it on purpose so the United State could join the war. I think that was necessary because that was mostly the only way to stop Japan, they could probably use another method but I think that was the fasted method so they could stop them from attacking again. I think that I make take this position because this topic interest me and I want to learn more about it because it sounds interesting for me. I want to know how it happen and I want to see if it was necessary for the United State to bomb Japan.
