This passage is called Concerning Treasures
            It is taken from     Mathew 6 19 – 24

Matthew 6:19-24
Concerning Treasures
19 ‘Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust* consume and where thieves break in and steal; 20but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust* consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
The Sound Eye
22 ‘The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light; 23but if your eye is unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
Serving Two Masters
24 ‘No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth

Summary

The summary in my passage Concerning Treasures tells us that you can keep your treasures but you cant bring them will you up there. As the wealth represents the devil and how you will do anything to get wealth if you stole some important treasures that belong to someone else, but what’s worth more than wealth is doing a good deed such as giving a homeless man some money buy someone a lunch all those things are good deeds which help you live in the light of God.

I think the message of the passage Concerning Treasures is that you don’t need wealth to be happy as it says in the passage that

I can relate this to today’s society because people who are wealthy think they have more power than the low class people who have no money and live on the streets and have no power
