Do you think government agencies should use sites like these to communicate information to the public? Why or why not?
A topic like this is very controversial, which means that there are going to be many pros and cons to each side of this issue.   The government can easily do whatever they think is right, but it’s up to the people to try and influence the decision made.   So first let’s pretend that the government can go ahead and use facebook, and twitter to communicate information with the public.   This can be good because millions of people a day use these resources so the info would easily be passed on.   Also the government would be able to track criminals with ease.   This would be good if there was a pedophile, or a thieve, or a killer that needed to be taken down.   But this doesn’t mean you can use facebook and twitter for any crime.   The little crimes like student loans, or late payments of a kind wouldn’t be necessary cause then I believe that’s digging into some ones personal life to much by spying on them when it’s really no big deal.
