U.S General: I am the representative of President Truman at this time who is here to tell you what our purpose and objective of dropping two nuclear bombs on Japan actually was. People have criticized Harry S. Truman for dropping these bombs for his personal reasons, but I will tell it was all done for the good of mankind. I think we all know some of the obvious reasons the bombs were dropped such as :   it was done for the purpose of saving lives and ending the war quickly in order to prevent a disastrous land invasion. If a land invasion of Japan did actually take place many Americans as well as Japanese people would have died and it would have cost us a lot of money. Ending the war quickly was much more wise since it allowed Americans to get back home and begin their lives of normality again.   If you look at the facts if a Japanese invasion took place 250 000-3 million Japanese and American lives would have been lost and the war would have ended 4 months later. So as you can see we did this to save American, Japanese and helpless lives of Japanese citizens. Since they had no regard for their people   since children were trained to strap themselves with TNT and jump under tanks destroying the enemy and dying the most honourable way possible. Also all citizens were trained to fight with sharpened bamboo sticks and die the honorary samurai way.

Japanese General: I am representing the Japanese emperor and am here to tell you why the Americans did actually bomb Japan. One of the main reasons was because we bombed pearl harbour and ended up bringing them into the war. Also the awful way we treated their soldiers and it was a way for President Truman to justify that the $2 billion he spent actually went towards the Manhattan Project and the developing of a nuclear bomb. He also wanted another term in office and by keeping a weapon of mass destruction in his back pocket and sacrificing many lives and wasting a lot of money his chances for being re-elected would have...
