TITLE: The 7 habits of highly effective people
Author: Stephen R. Covey
Year published: January 2000
Type of book: Non- fiction book
Theme: Self improvement or 7 Step to restore the character Ethic.

This book does not literally have a plot because it does not treat of a logical story. The author is trying to make the elements that make people successful in life more understandable. With some concrete example the author builds around Aristotle’s phrase that states: “we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” He goes step by step starting by proving that personal skills can be important only when all other circumstances are met. For example a good worker will not be able to practice his skills if he does not have a job, therefore the existence of the job is more important that the worker’s personal skills. That is what he calls personal and character ethic.
The author also comes up with the concept of:
* Dependence
*independence
* Interdependence
To be interdependent the dependent person need to be independent first. Then the author guides us through our way to be independent and interdependent by indicating us which habit is include in each step.
To pass from dependence to independence, what will lead us to a private victory we will need:
  1. To be proactive: Contrary to reactive people, the proactive one controls his environment. He takes control of his life when reactive people are blaming other for their own mistake or when they could work and make things better. Reactive people undergo when the proactive ones design their life.
  2. Begin with the end in mind: another way to say that we should not be a good beginner and a poor finisher. Everything that physically exist was mentally created first that’s why   to picture mentally where you want to go, what goal you want to reach can make easier your journey   to that point.

  3. Put the first thing first:...
