SELF REFLECTION
Overall I felt that I delivered a good and solid speech. It’s a bit weird to watch yourself and although I thought I did well I did notice some definite room for improvement. For example some of the things that I think I did really well were that for one I felt like I had a good presence on stage for the majority of time. I thought that my information was solid and I presented it well adding pauses for suspense and emotion. I also felt that as the speech went on I became more comfortable and the speech began to better and better. When I watched the speech there were some things that I was unhappy with though. I thought that my introduction was good but my voice was not very balanced and I made a slip or two. I felt that I could have been and in the future will be more fluid with the intro. Meaning that I should have probably read from the outline less. Something funny I noticed about watching myself deliver the speech is that in the beginning of the speech I kept looking down at the outline even though I had   memorized most of the speech , I think this could have been due to nerves. Anyway after a satisfactory introduction I thought I kicked it up a gear in the rest of the speech and was very persuasive. I really proud of myself for nailing the time allowed for the speech, which was what I was having a problem with in the last couple of speeches.   I enjoyed watching my speech and I think it allowed me to physically see some areas that I could improve and it gave me confidence that I have been delivering speeches solidly with good information and good emotional appeal.
