Grand Ukay-ukay at Sapa Libutad

Experiencing how to give love without thinking how much you have spent for it makes me feel blessed in a way that I CAN share my blessings to less fortunate people. Last Agust 7, 2010, the Angeles University Foundation- NSTP-CWTS students went to Sapa Libutad to open on that day a Grand Ukay-Ukay Day. The items on sale were brought by us students with the guidance of our professors and were put on very very very low prices! The prices ranged from P1-P20 only! It was really a very fun activity. We experienced doing sales talk and stuff like that, telling customers that the clothes were selling fits them perfectly so that they will buy and the people were excited which made our earnings second to the highest among all the sections that were present during that day.

It could have been better if we were told a week before the activity so that we had the sufficient time to collect more items to be sold and we noticed that the food items were easily bought because of the very cheap prices. It’s kinda sad since we haven’t met the family we were assigned to because we were told that they were away at that day. I guess it wont hurt if we will continue our case analysis next activity at Sapa Libutad and hopefully they are present in the Medical Mission.

Over-all, that day was really great and I feel happy for I have shared something, though it’s just a small thing on my part, at least it helped some people. ‘Twas really a great experience!
