Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people?

Is the truth always better than a lie? In this modern society, we will face many unexpected occasions. We lie for many different reasons. We can't ignore that some lies are good for some people. The most important consideration in any relationship isn't always telling the truth. "Lie to me" has a very famous saying talks about In ordinary conversation a person lies three times every ten minutes on average. However, does all the lies hurt us and truths always do a great job? I don't think so.

If our friend get a very terrible disease, such as cancer, should we tell him the truth and they will live in this world for at most three months? That's cruel and make the thing worse. Yes, that's true
and maybe we should be honest to our friends like we used to say but doing this can just ruin our friend's psychology before the illness and make everything hopeless. What we ought do is telling our friend that anything will be ok and the virus won't hurt you if you own the mind full of hope. Telling this lie maybe has no use but at least it's better than the truth and perhaps miracles will happen.

In our short lives, do any of us dare to say that I never tell a lie? Facts are not always bright and always telling the truth sometimes can't maintain the relationship but break it. Telling a lie to a patient may save his life. Telling a lie to a child may keep his wonderful dream and give him a delight childhood. Telling a lie to a dying old man may let him go to the paradise peacefully. When we face difficulties just like losing jobs and our parents make a phone call to us, why don’t we tell them that we live a good life and don’t be worried?
