Who denies the Holocaust? How do they justify such a huge piece of history with so much documented, and say that it never happened? This is by far astonishing and a very gruesome way, it strikes immoral on many levels and is a true setback of human behavior.   It seems that these people are trying to justify that it never happened or more the less minimize its death toll or significance in history.
Ernst Zundel has been leading Holocaust denier and white supremacist ideologue for several decades. He had served 5 years in prison for inciting racial hatred. IN the late 1970s he began running Samisdat Publishers, one of the largest distributors of Nazi and neo-Nazi propaganda and memorabilia in the world. He is also considered an inspiration for and key content provider of the Zundelsite, since 1995 a leading online repository of Holocaust-denial propaganda. (Source 1; Pg 1)
Zundel has been trialed in several trials in Canada, where he lived from 1958 to 2001, and made him subject to arrest when he returned to Germany, his country of birth. Zundel apparently relishes his legal battles with what he calls the “Holocaust industry.”(Source1;Pg1)
Many supremacist groups and Holocaust deniers have united to support Zundel; in April 2004, for instance, and international conference of Holocaust deniers and neo-Nazis convened in his honor in Sacramento. He is only one of many Holocaust deniers.
To show that these Holocaust deniers are not only of German decent; the next person I bring up is James Keegstra, a former teacher in a secondary school in Alberta. Keegstra had made anti-Semitic statements in his class and was accused of having fermented hatred against the Jews. The case was heard by the Supreme Court of Canada. The court unanimously concluded that hate propaganda formed part of the protected freedom of expression pursuant to subsection 2(b) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms because hate propaganda is a form of expression.
