Heart attack and Stroke

The heart attack and stroke are two terrible illnesses. Most of the heart attacks are caused as a result of a coronary artery disease. It is the build-up over time of a material, called plaque that is accumulated on the artery’s lumen. The plaque can break open, causing a blood clot. The Heart Attack occurs when this clot becomes bigger and it cuts off the blood flow that passes through the artery.

This illness can also occur due to problems of the microscopic blood vessels of the heart. This is called a micro vascular disease. Doctors say this disease affects more women, than men.

When a person takes some drugs, like cocaine or maybe they have lot of emotional stress or pain they can have a spam. Exposure to extreme cold or cigarette smoking can cause a spam too. This illness can occur in the coronary artery, without having a coronary artery disease.

They are some signs that can mean that a heart attack can happen. Like a chest discomfort, that is the most common sign. People feel some uncomfortable pressure, fullness and squeezing. Some discomfort in the upper areas of the body can be a sign too.

These illnesses happen day by day, but if we have more careful, with our selves we can live without these diseases.
