Irony and Ambiguity
It was a typical Friday at Artesia High School. I was kicking back with the homies   at lunch. We had just got out of 5th period and it had been a really boring day so far so at the spot we decided to here music and munch on some chips my friend Alex brought. The after 6th period we all decided to meet up at the park to go to franks house to watch a movie. Once there we all pitched in money to order a pizza to eat because all the homies were hungry including me. Then around 5:30 PM I had to bounce because my bother and I were going to go get a fade with the other homie at his house. So around six I heard his loud green dodge truck making a turn in the corner. So I stepped out side and got on the truck and left. I told him to take me to the liquor store to buy a razor. Because I wanted to look clean for the party my homie had invited me that night. So we went got our fades and didn’t get back home until 8:30 PM. So buy 9:30 PM I had already finished getting ready to go to the party. Then I get a call from my homie which I thought he was calling me to go out side cause he was waiting for me. But no he told me that on his way over here his car broke down so we weren’t able to go to the party. I was so mad because I really wanted to go cause I had my hear freshly cut I was looking sharp for this one lady I liked that was going to to the party. If I would of known the car was going to   break down I would of not gotten a haircut or gotten ready. But life is life.
