His team was the underdog to win the game
As the whistle blows the clouds begin to form,
The ball is kicked around the players are
Looking for the opportunity to score.

After thirty minutes the other team scores
The player is mad at what just happened.
His team goes to the locker room down a goal.
The coach motivates his team to shoot and as a team.
The referee blows his whistle for the second half

After ten minutes he was fouled for a free kick,
His teammate takes the shot and scores it’s now tied.
He is filled with adrenaline knowing it’s a tied game,
The coach celebrates with his players after the goal.
The other team players yell at each other after the goal

Two minutes left in the game he has the ball,
He dribbles between two defenders,
He sees his chance to win he winds up to shoot,
But he is tackled from behind, the ref blows his whistle
It is a penalty kick

It is raining hard and the team is anxious
He is nervous about how to shoot the ball,
The goalie’s mind is everywhere waiting,
The player shoots and he is filled with joy,
The team runs to him and celebrates the win

He now has tears on his cheeks he has done it
He scored the game winning goal to win.
He runs to his parents and hugs them.
The league president comes and presents the trophy
He receives his medal for M.V.P and is now feeling accomplished
