In the Play Macbeth, it takes place in the   English Renaissance. This   time setting allows   for the flexibility of that time period, with kings, knights, castles and other things. The age of the English Renaissance was an easy way that Shakespeare could easily seaplane   the moral message he was trying to convey to the crowed that was watching it.   With the line of kings during that time the story of Macbeth also showed how the raining king   of that time came to be on the thrown . This was a very touchy subject for Shakespeare as he did not want to upset the king. But this play can also be played in modern times as well.The play of Macbeth is a very lucid play, as with it, the main plot and theme of the whole play may also be put into modern terms. This play of; murder, deceit, lying,   and the want of personal gain   becomes over wellming for Macbeth and he does the unthinking able and kills his king.   This can be conveyed in modern terms of, a high ranking gang member killing the leader, and he becomes leader, or he may be and officer in an army, killing his general and becoming the leader of that army. There are many   different kinds of way s that this may be accomplished for this play. That is how I think the play of Macbeth may become a modern playIn Shakespeare's plays he usually has a moral to every play he writes. Macbeth is no different.   In the play Macbeth , the main character struggles with the moral standers of respecting and honoring the king   and the personal gain he wishes for himself. In the start of this play Macbeth is greeted by three witches that say that he is going to be Thane of Cawdor, and the king later. This instills a want of these things in is heart and at first he denies this. But later he gives in to what he wants.This is the struggle that Macbeth has. This is moral battle for him to over come, but in this play it shows how if you give in to what you want and not to stick with your standers that it is ultimately destructive to you or the...
