Executive summary and Background
This is the age of globalization. Organization need to be more competitive and state forward in terms of their products and services for existence in the market. For my assignment work I have chosen the government owned big companies of my country, Lumbini Sugar Mill Ltd. It is registered/ established in 1982 with the financial and technological support of China and company successfully starting or running from 1989. The company established with the aim to produce 10000 metric ton sugar annually and by using bio product materials company plan to produce 12000 litters rectified sprit daily. Because of the ineffective management of the company they had gone a loss. . In last two years records of loss in year 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 accordingly Rs. 83163000(£740467.52) and Rs. 73917000(£65814.90) (MOF Nepal, 2005). To manage these problems of ongoing loss of companies the His Majesty Government of Nepal took decision of privatizing the companies under the privatization act 1993 in July 13 2005. The major issues under this process of privatization are to manage the existing human resources of the companies. Because of this issues company almost closed for 1 year all its operation. Here government of Nepal decided to do this strategic change for effective management of the company for improving his performance.

In this competitive business environment many organization are facing trouble to sustain in the market. This is because of increasing competition due to globalization. Different organization chooses the approach to ways of change according to their strategic management decisions. Concerning to the case study analysis, government of Nepal decided to change the organizational structure and process as a whole by handover the business to private sector.
