Throughout my life as a teenager, i have met and made countless of people throughout the world.
They came from all walks of life. There was this one particular kid that changed my perspective on
life . The very moment i laid my eyes on her, i knew there was something special about her.
This happened back when i was still in school, handing up essays , doing projects and activities after school hours.
The holiday period went by in an instant. A new year of school, ordeals and challenges awaits me. As far as my memory takes me , i could still remember
The very first day the school. I was anxious and yet disappointed that the holidays had ended .
I could still remember the old school gates creaking open, leading in numerous numbers of students into the front porch of the school where they then
made their way to the courtyard to be sitted according to their classes .

I was running late that day as my sister hogged the toilet to herself for an entire hour .I had always wondered why do girls
take so long just to get dressed up. As i was on the clock , i made a mad dash towards the gate trying to gain access to the school grounds
on time. Who wants to be tardy during the first day of school!.Before i even got into the school vicinity , i was knocked down by a person who came running
from the opposite direction.

" I'm so sorry , i banged into you ! , i did not want to be late for school you see .." , said a girl with a very apologetic and sincere voice .

What i heard was a female voice , what i saw shocked me. For a second i thought , the collision had gave me a concussion and i was hallucinating things.
The girl was bald.The hair on her head was shaved off just like the mens who serve their national service.Her palm even seemed rough when she offered to pull me up
off the ground.

"Its alright , it was an accident wasn't it? lets get in the school before we are forced to serve detention !" , i replied jokingly .
