My First Time

Reflection Paper:

Homeless families, Poverty, Unemployment, these are examples of injustices or unequal sharing of resources. Why does this happen? In my own opinion as what reality is showing me I can see that these things happen because some of us nowadays are becoming more and more self-centered, some are building private little worlds around them enabling the “others” to experience the resources that came from God, which is really meant to be shared by each and every one of us. Some of us are becoming more concerned about our own development, not being aware of the ones we are stepping behind. We are all afraid of going down or becoming the one being stepped behind, that’s why we always want to have more. And it does not end there, even though we have all the things that we need, we still long for more for us to be always on top, we compete, until the last one survives, to be called powerful, to be the leader that everyone must follow. We are living in a nature of self-centered survival of the fittest. See? This injustice thing is a virus, a virus that is goanna eat us all alive, a virus that is spreading throughout the land, this virus must be stopped! It’s not yet too late for us to change; all we need to do is to be a cure for each and every one of us. Yes! We are the cure of the spreading virus that we have created, and it is by simply being there for each other, knowing the needs of our poor brothers and sisters, sharing them what we have, ‘giving until it hurts’, and many more. And with all this things, we may not just avoid injustice; we might help our own country to develop and to be united as one family.
