Part One: When I first thought about looking into going to school, going back to school was definitely not my first option. School never came easy to me, and in fact, when I was in school I was not the first to be in class, and I definitely was not the last to leave the classroom. I guess one could say that there was a part of me that didn’t care as much. When I graduated McClintock High School, all I could think about was getting a job so that I could save up money and move out of my parent’s house. I was very nervous and afraid that I wouldn’t do so well, but with the first class that is offered, it was more of an orientation class to allow ourselves the ability to get back into the swing of things especially if someone has been out of school for a very long time. This was a huge advantage as I did not want to just start class and then fall behind because the first class was hard!
At the time...
