Those six days including the journey there and back had left lovely memories of my journey at the Lahjung Adventure Centre.   I had enjoyed myself very much on the whole, considering the fact that I had to take the first few days to accommodate myself to the ‘real life’.   It had taken me a few days to adjust myself to the way of living at the Centre but leaving the place was cheerless and we had all learnt masses about ourselves and bonded well with our friends.  

Forthrightly, the first day made me feel as if the class holiday was a punishment.   The ride there had caused many of us to ache as the roads were uneven and bumpy.   The weather was humid and our living grounds were those of a beggar’.   We slept so close to each other; tightly sardine-packed, and the beds were solid hard and smelling the stench of our friend’s feet was unpleasant.   On the second day I was humiliated.   If I had a choice, I would not have gone up the rock face, but I was forced to.   It was not dangerous, but neither was I a fan of heights.   Part of the second day, I met the eighth natural world wonder.   There was this marvelous waterfall that we have to prevent beautiful Mother Nature from being demolished.   I was gawping at the magnificent scenery and you will easily be immersed in it as well!  

It was already half-way into the trip and I was expecting more fun.   We trekked through this jungle, which I did not regret doing.   Obediently, I dressed up such that no leeches could bite me and spoil my holiday.   The third day had let me get used to living in those unusual conditions.   The monkeys and parrots were interesting to observe, even a fungus, which is a drug to fight cancer.   Part of...
