Personal Journal in the Eyes of Victor Frankenstein

Dear Journal,
It has been a long journey from back home and how hard it was to leave after the death of my mother that I miss ever so much. I hope my family is doing fine back at home without me, but I am excited to go back to school. As much as I miss home, Ingolstadt is not a bad place to live. I am going to get ready for a new start and life at Ingolstadt, and hope to study more of the alchemists. I have a meeting with professor of natural philosophy, M. Krempe which I am very excited for. I hope tomorrow brings good news.



Dear Journal,
Today I had a meeting with professor of natural philosophy, M. Krempe and he gave me some very disappointing news about my studies. I have learned that I have wasted my time studying alchemists. I was shocked and upset but I am looking towards the future. The professor recommended studying chemistry and some sciences, I’m not sure what I want to do yet but I will keeping thinking and decided soon. I miss home a little but I understand the sacrifice I need to make for school and for the future.

Dear Journal,
I have changed my mind for the better and hope it goes well for me in the long run. When I went to take Professor M. Krempe advice I discovered a new passion inside of me, which is science. I am intrigued about science and the study of the human body. I think it is so interesting and fascinating of how the body works and functions. “All the thing that make the body have a reason to be there” said by Professor today. I miss my family and home dearly but I know the sacrifice of what I am doing.

In the last few days I have been fascinated by the human body. I want to learn more about how the body works and functions. I am just so in love with human body, I can’t get enough of how everything is connected together and works as one. It is amazing, so excited to go to the next class.
