Child Molesters…A Parents Worse Nightmare
In a perfect world the term “child molester” would be nothing more than two meaningless words. The reality our world is not perfect and these kinds of people really do exist. There are people amongst us that actually enjoy hurting innocent children. Unfortunately there isn’t an alarm that can be bought in order to alert police and parents when a child is going to be victimized. Child predators don’t walk around holding signs that read: Beware! Keep Children Away. Instead, these people walk around undetectable.
Parents try their best to keep their children safe but sometimes in light of all their efforts their worst nightmare comes true. Their child’s innocence is taken by a child molester. Horrible incidents like this happen all the time and a lot of times parents learn that the person responsible is a repeat offender and has previously served time in prison for similar offenses. How many chances should child molesters receive? Is sparing their lives more important than ensuring the safety of another child? Absolutely not, which is why second time offenders should be prosecuted and punished to the fullest extinct of the law…The Death Penalty.

Capital punishment, the death penalty, or execution is the killing of a person by judicial process as a punishment for and offense. The policy for capital punishment was greatly revised around the time of the America Revolution, and the death penalty was officially prohibited for lesser crimes. The death penalty is abolished in 15 states and the District of Columbia. Of the 35 states that have the death penalty, one-third rarely impose death sentences and another one-third impose death sentences but hardly ever carry them out.
