In the movie supersize me, Morgan Spurlock ate McDonalds for one month and faced many symptoms. In the beginning of the movie Spurlock had three doctors examine and check his health. Spurlock faced no problems and was considered a very healthy man in the beginning of the movie. As he took in McDonalds food everyday his body and mind started to change. McDonalds food was the cause of the results he got from his doctors at the end of the movie.
Spurlock became depressed, gained weight, and started having cardiac problems in just a month.   By the end of the movie, Spurlock’s nutritionist estimated that Morgan took in about a jar full of fat and 30 lbs of sugar. Morgan consumed about 5,500 calories a day compared to the average of 2,470 calories human should take a day. He gained 24.5 lbs and his cholesterol level went up 65 points. In the end of the movie, Morgan faced many dangers as his liver turned mostly into fat substance. Because of the food Spurlock lost a lot of energy and could not even go up the stairs without being out of breath. Consuming so much fast food also interfered with his sex life with his vegan girlfriend. Due to the consumption of all the McDonalds Spurlock ate, he faced many changes and dangers.
Consuming as much sugar and cholesterol as Spurlock did, he could have easily gotten diabetes. Because diabetes is because of high blood glucose, blood pressure, and high cholesterol, food from McDonalds was a major issue. Morgan mentioned that obese people was diabetic. Diabetes type two is caused by the foods people eat. Eating so much cholesterol and sugar during the movie could clot blood streams. When Morgan started having heart pains at night, these were the symptoms of having too much cholesterol and sugar. As days went by, Spurlock became depressed when he was not around food.
