Abortion...Its a Life or Death Situation

Pro-life or Pro-choice….It’s a life or death situation

It took me a while to come up with a good title but when I was thinking about what abortion actually was, this is what just hit me. Considering American values, death is morally wrong. Therefore, killing unborn babies is morally wrong as well. I typed in on Google what problems abortion can actually cause and found something good to write my thesis about. This practice of terminating unborn fetuses called abortion, should be outlawed because it lessens the chances of having children later, it can lead to medical problems such as infections and recurrent miscarriages, and can also cause psychological problems for people who suffer with depression and guilt.
After finishing my first paragraph and thesis I was stumped on what next to write. I turned on youtube and typed in a few different songs that I could listen to and I started researching excuses for having an abortion and it gave me the idea of what to write about next.” I am too young to be a parent and I don’t want the responsibility of having a child at such a young age.” “ I do not have the financial support which is needed to raise a child.I am a rape victim and I don’t want to keep the baby which was the result.” All three of these explanations are often used when asked why someone went through with an abortion. Women who do not have a reliable partner often decided to get an abortion. Many young women in college who are pregnant find themselves having to choose between furthering their education to survive economically and dropping out to raise a child.
I started shooting blanks again on what to write about so I thought about what Pro-choice actually was and decided to tell their side of the story so the reader can get an aspect of both sides of the argument.
