LIN DAN
Sports is a healthy activity for all sorts or people. We must take sports as our hobby so that we can maintain our health. There are many types of sports that we can involve such as football, volleyball, tennis, netball, swimming, badminton and others.
I like sport very much. I like sport because it can help me to increase my study and avoid me from get sleepy   during in class. I like to play badminton very much. I also have an idol that is Lin Dan. He is a star in sport field. I like him very much because he is so clever in arrange his strategy.
He is a player badminton from China. I always watch his games in television. I never missed watch his games. He was born on 14th October 1983 at Longyan, Fujian China. He has 1.78m height and 70kg weight. He is a handedness player. This is his specialities.
In his early years, lin dan was arranged to learn piano by his parents, but he choose to play badminton at the age of five. He joined the sport’s troop of People’s Liberation Army at the age of 13 and was part of national team since 2001 when he was 18 years old.
Year of 2001 has marked the start of Lin’s professional career. His first final, the Asian Badminton Championships was thrashed by compatriot Xia Xuanze. Then, Lin started the 2003 season with a third round defeat   in All England. In 2005, Lin Dan won his “warm-up” tournament for the All England, the German Open, after beating Malaysia’s Muhammad Hafiz Hashim. However he lost his All England title to compatriot Chen Hong. In May 2005, Lin Dan his compatriots brought back the Sudirman Cup to China, when in 2003 they had lost to South Korea. In August, Lin Dan reached hs first World Championship final in Anaheim, USA, but lost to the talented Indonesian, Taufik Hidayat. Even so, he managed to claim more titles at the China masters and the Hong Kong Open.
In Olympic Games, Lin Dan, who was undoubtedly the local hero and heavy favourite, began his gold medal hunt by subduing Hong Kong’s Ng Wei...
