Blog and its Use for Teaching Learning Process
Internet has given the significant influence toward education field.   Nowadays everybody count on internet to find everything they want. For example when lecturer gives an assignment, students prefer to get information they need through the internet rather than open the book. Usually smart lecturer will try to follow the trend by making facility based on internet that can accommodate students needed. Having a blog can be one of solution for this matter. Lecturer should have a blog to make teaching learning process easier. In this essay we will talk about the usage of blog for teaching learning process. There are at least three benefits of using blog; first to update the information, second to share the lesson, then to earn money.
As lecturer works in education field, he/she must have a lot of information about education world; scholarship, training, seminar, workshop etc. When lecturer has a blog he/she can always update the information for the students, therefore students will be easier to find the information through that blog. It will help students upgrade their ability. It so important because when students have a good ability they will easily understand the subject lecturer taught. As consequences they will make a good mark which is shows the success of teaching learning process.
The other reason to having a blog is that, through blog lecturer can share the lesson they will teach in the class. Before enter the class students are suggested to read the blog first so they will have a clear description about the material they will get. As a result they will know what they must prepare, what question they will ask etc. Besides sharing lesson through blog will also help the students who miss the class. It doesn’t mean that lecturer agrees with the students who skip the class without permission, but the lecturer just try to do a favor by giving an opportunity for students to catch up the lesson.
