A school as a young child might see it

“Thank God!” I yelled to the top of my lungs.   The bell finally rang.   I Knew I should have had breakfast before I came to class. I could hear my stomach rumbling. With Math being my next class I had to think of something fast. I blotted down the hallway, kicking up dust as I dashed to the nearest vending machine. Just then my stomach dropped to the floor. “The damn machine took my dollar!” All I could do was suck it up and blow out a sigh of frustration. The late bell rang and I could still hear my stomach screaming for something to eat. Sitting through the hour of Math class felt like two million years passed me. With a smile on my face I asked the lunch woman for the teriyaki. She rudely slapped a glob of dark brown, chunky, thick slab of glob on my plate. “Bon appetite” the woman foully said with a smirk on her face. I rushed to the cafeteria for this. Oh well I guess I will go hungry.
