Ali: Hey Dr. Amjad

Amjad: Hey Ali. How are you doing? You look extremely thin. Have a seat. What’s wrong?

Ali: I don’t know. I have been feeling these pains in my chest area and I always seem to be tired.
-------------------------------------------------
Amjad: When did this pain start?
-------------------------------------------------
Ali: About 3 months ago, I was sleeping and all of a sudden I felt this excruciating pain in my chest area. Since then, I have had hard time breathing and I feel lazy all the time.

Amjad: Do you consume all necessary proteins, fats, vitamins, calcium, iron, and etc. at the level of consumption needed for a healthy human being?

Ali: Well, since probably I was born till 3 months back, I have had the best diet possible. Three months back, I went on a diet and as you can see now, I have lost more than 60 pounds.

Amjad: Is this the cause of extreme exercise or only dietary changes?
-------------------------------------------------
Ali: Well I have gone on a diet, and therefore have limited the amount of food I consume.
-------------------------------------------------
Amjad: That is a really bad choice you have made, as this limits you from obtaining the amount of necessary proteins, fats, vitamins, calcium, iron, and etc.

Amjad: Do you have any family members that have had any serious diseases in the past?
-------------------------------------------------
Ali: Yes I am pretty sure that my grandfather had something called Cooley’s anemia.
