"Friendly Schools" (Child-friendly school) is a model school launched by UNICEF and has been applied successfully in many countries. In Vietnam education today still need a lot of important elements to create a "school friendly" features have made by UNICEF.
1. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY
Teaching and learning are two main activities in the schools, but the learning environment of the classroom now very monotonous and less attractive. In a classroom equipped with today's popular furniture usually only students, furniture Teacher (Lecturer), platform lectures, blackboard.Students to sit in class from 4 to 5 hours a day so easily bored students. Students should be encouraged to create a learning environment in classes according to interest them, to be decorated with student own photos or other decorative objects to class very close and warm as a corner meeting set in home of the children to make learning more exciting. Let the children themselves raised slogans study and practice for themselves.
Equipped with modern audio-visual facilities for teaching and learning is essential because it supports teaching and learning activities, but that is not the deciding factor to help create a friendly learning environment.
Architecture of the whole school should also be designed in accordance with age and heart physiology students. Landscape and environment in the interest should also be designed to create an environment friendly and safe for students when the players and outdoor activities. Facilities for learning as libraries, laboratories, canteen, the gym and play sports, the type of club the interests of investment should also be equipped with modern, fully and relevant to students can often to have fun, study after hours.
