First Day at Cambridge

There is something that I have learned in the textbook but never experienced. The buses, bikes all go on the left side of the street. The bike has no stand and shelf against the mud and water. When you ride at night you must have lights ahead and red light in the back. Otherwise you will be fined. The toilet in the English faculty building is very clean. There were no other people but only a few students. The place we live is rent by three students and they are very smart student who study for their MA Or PhD. Degrees. They have their own scholarship which is even higher than ours. They rent the spare rooms to us.
You can take your own bags or take the materials with you when you are shopping in the mall. Nobody will suspect you and nobody will be on guard. People are willingly in line to pay and there aren’t many people.
The road is not wide enough for bikes and so it is a little dangerous to ride. When you cross the street you have to wait till the light is green or you can press a button to stop the car and cross the street. The sky is so blue and the cold water is drinking water everywhere. The weather is very changeable. It rains a lot but not so hard or so long. It is windy and cool. There are fruit trees.
Cambridge is a 800-year world famous university in 2009.   The buildings are not new but very solid and beautiful. The grass and lawn are green and the trees are big and happy with many different seeds and flowers. How Interesting! Some people are thin and some are fat. Some are white and others are black. The punting is interesting and not so many tourists as it is still summer vacation. So there are people standing beside the road to demonstrate and wanting to attract people. There are so many colleges and the King’s college is the most magnificent one with lawn and big tree touching the ground and reaching the sky. The mathematical bridge, the lady who took photos for us, the man who told me the way, the Cam River and the ducks on it all are in harmony...
