Democratic Capitalism, Democratic Socialism, and Communism/Socialism are three governments that have many differences and similarities.   The Communist government has the most power of the three.   China is a communist government.   They do not allow free elections nor do they protect the rights of individuals.   This system states it is a government that gives equal rights to everyone.   However, people are usually put into the poor class, while the government takes the rich class.   To keep with the equal rights, this system does not provide incentives or rewards.   The government controls businesses and plans the country.   China provides security for the people, but does not allow them freedom of choice.

Democratic Capitalism and Democratic Socialism both allow free elections.   United States is an example of a Democratic Capitalist.   They allow freedom for the people to make enterprises.   Also, there is little government intervention so most things are not restricted in the US.   The policy of "free speech" is very important in the Democratic Capitalist type government.   Europe is a Democratic Socialist type government.   European economy has a little more security than the United States but less than China.   The government owns major production; people have voice through elections.   The government helps support social programs.   Private property and free enterprises operate in many sectors of Europe.   Governments control enterprises by making high taxes and limiting incentives.   All of these governments have their advantages and disadvantages.   There is no "rightful" government in the three as it is based on opinion and choice.   Majority would rather have democratic than communism, but it is based on your feelings of security, freedom, justice, and liberty.
