Last week, I went travelling to Japan with my best friend, John, as Japan was our favourite country and was the most desired place to be visited together. Being a graduate who had just stepped in the society working for not longer than one year, I had gone through a hard time as I only ate one meal per day in order to save up money for my Japan trip. So, I decided to revel myself in this tour and enjoy it in these five days as a reward for my hard work in career. We departed for Japan with jubilation as we could not wait to visit the Disneyland in Tokyo any longer. I chuckled with an obvious delight like a radiant bride and a blissful smile unknowingly lit up and lingered on my face when we reached Japan’s airport. We checked in at a nearby hotel and anticipated for the next day’s activities.

When I woke up, I was traumatised by the unexpected scenery outside the hotel’s window, the whole place was completely covered by the snow and I could even feel the chill in the air while standing beside the window. I was stunned and I stood rooted to the same spot for minutes when our tour guide told us that our itinerary for the day had to be cancelled due to the unforeseen capricious climate. We had to stay in the hotel until the weather turned better as it would be dangerous to travel in a snowstorm. I was taken aback by his words and my heart sank as it was really a great bummer to hear the unpleasant news.
