Leadership Camp
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
The famous quote is about how a leader should be, and I want to try to become a leader. Being a leader is not about whether you have the brute strentgh; it is about whether you are able to have the confidence to become somebody. It is great when a leader does everything for you! But what dose his followers learn? An iron fist is not liked, but an easy target is a disgrace. Hope, freedom and equality are other traits a great leader must have.
Leadership camp will give me more confidence, skill and leadership. I am not brilliant at running or throwing, but great leaders were not commonly known as sportsmen! Also a leader is needed when the going gets tough, but you know what? I love a good challenge! I don’t mean fighting; I mean actual achievements like making a breakthrough in a subject!
No man is good enough to govern another man without that other's consent.
Abraham Lincoln
Another famous line, the morale of your followers means a happy you! Leadership camp teaches you to learn how to treat people the way you want to be treated!
Leaders must be tough enough to fight,
tender enough to cry,
human enough to make mistakes,
humble enough to admit them,
strong enough to absorb the pain,
and resilient enough to bounce back and keep on moving.
