Hello, I am Apurva Jamwal. I belong to India, the land of fairs, festivals and God. Before writing the essay, I would like to give you a brief introduction of mine. I have completed my degree in Computer Science & Engineering in 2008. Now why I am looking again for a Bachelor’s degree in Fine arts is because I want to learn Dance professionally. I love to dance, it is my only passion. I cannot express in words what Dance for me is. I am interested in Dancing since my childhood. I have always dreamt of becoming a professional Dance Instructor. I have earned my B.Tech degree for my parents and now I want to do something for myself because I believe “The poorest man in the world is the man without a dream & the most frustrated man in the world is the man with a dream that never becomes reality.” And I really love myself and do not want me to become a frustrated person. Now let me write something about Dance here. What according to me Dance is?
I believe dance is the beautiful art which can also express the views, ideas and emotions of a person. Dancing is a self-expression that can be done in numerous ways. All dance forms use emotions as inspiration. Since there are many cultures & human emotions, so there are many forms of dance, but the three dance forms which are most intricate are:  ballet, modern, and jazz, involving a technique only gained through years of training. This variety invites for easily expressing ideas that a person may have about anything. An expression through dance is artistic, because the majority of what is created is based on the aesthetics of the movement. Dance can be exciting, boring, difficult, easy, old, new, etc. As long as there is an expression of movement, art is created. Therefore any dancing is art. Dance is an expressive form to let out the feelings and ideas that people have every day.
