The dream of India as a strong nation will not be realised without self-reliant, self-sufficient villages, this can be achieved only through social commitment & involvement of the common man.

This was the statement by Anna Hazare. As we all know, at present he is everywhere in NEWS. In every news channel we find him, why? If we want to know why we should know what corruption is.

“Corruption is any course of action or failure to act by individuals or organizations, public or private, in violation of law or trust for profit or gain.”

Corruption is mostly concerned with bribe. But it is an unhealthy activity for the society and for the whole world.

Corruption is a global phenomenon like GOD it is everywhere from the lowest post to the highest officials and the ministers, from the small village to the capital of the country. And an Anti-corruption crusader, Anna Hazare is a person who wants to remove this dirt. And for the same he supported The Jan Lokpal Bill.

The Jan Lokpal Bill (also referred to as the citizens' ombudsman bill) is a proposed anti-corruption law in India. It is designed to effectively deter corruption, redress grievances and protect whistle-blowers. If passed and made into law, the bill seeks to create an ombudsman called the Lokpal (protector of the people) - an independent body similar to theElection Commission of India with the power to investigate politicians and bureaucrats without prior government permission. First introduced in 1969, the bill has failed to become law for nearly over four decades.

Anna Hazare insists that the bill should be passed without delay as it is already late and it should be passed in its old form The Jan Lokpal Bill not as Draft Lok Pal Bill in 2010. He started his Satyagraha on 15th August and found imprisonment. Many social workers and social right activist supported him.

As we are the citizens of India, it is our moral responsibility to support the person who is trying to make better India and...
